Job summary

Houston Physicians Hospital seeks a PRN CNA/Patient Care Tech to join our care team. You will assist with patient care, housekeeping tasks, and support for RNs within the Med/Surg unit.

Responsibilities include helping patients with daily activities, responding to call lights, and maintaining safety and infection control standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.
• Patient Interviewing skills.
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.
