Benchmark Senior Living in New York is seeking a compassionate CNA to deliver high-quality care in a warm, home-like environment. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and report needs to the care team.

Shifts are 7:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, and 11:00pm-7:00am, with weekend options. This role emphasizes dignity, effective communication, and engagement, plus access to comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred.
• Experience working with people with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nurse Assistant , your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, 11:00pm-7:00am

Schedule: Sunday & Monday, or Friday & Saturday

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
