Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Connecticut seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver resident care in a warm, home-like setting. You will support residents with daily activities and monitor health and comfort, ensuring dignity and safety at all times.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, documenting changes, communicating with care teams, and providing emotional support to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient-centered care for residents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Demonstrated empathy and supportive interaction with elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).

• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Ensure residents receive respectful, safe, and high-quality care.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.


• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.


• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.


• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA license required


• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required


• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
