Job summary

Whitney Oaks Care Center in Carmichael, CA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time position. You will provide routine nursing care, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support residents under the supervision of the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA Certification
• Compassionate and resident-centered care
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plans and physician orders
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral care
• Measure and record vital signs, weights, and other resident observations
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, feeding, and post-meal care
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and transportation within the facility
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and flow sheets
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion
• Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional resident care
