Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the unit-based patient care team. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will perform direct and indirect patient care, including ADLs, vital signs, glucometry, EKGs, weights, and intake/output data collection.

You will respond promptly to patient needs, assist with transport and supply restocking, and contribute to efficient unit operations while adhering to Joint Commission, CDC, and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to assist in patient care with proper organization and flexibility.
• Certification as a CNA is required and essential for the role.
• Good communication and customer relations are necessary for team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living, vital signs, glucometry, EKGs, weights and I&O data.
• Perform indirect care such as transport, restocking, and obtaining patient care supplies.
• Respond promptly to patient and family needs and support unit operations per hospital policies.
