Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for Shoreline, WA. You will provide in-home support to maintain comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life for the client.

Schedule includes various days, about 5 days per week, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Pay ranges from $21.00–$23.00 per hour based on experience and assignment.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
• CPR certification preferred/required as applicable.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Physical endurance for caregiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist clients with prescribed exercises and activities.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks the client cannot complete independently.
• Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands as needed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and other care team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or unusual situations.

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Shoreline, WA. Schedule

Various days, approximately 5 days per week
Hours between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment

• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
