Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care in Washington is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers, HCAs, and CNAs to support seniors in their homes. Part-time opportunities are available, with potential for additional hours based on client needs and availability.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help maintain independence and comfort for clients. Training is offered, and a team-oriented environment supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State HCA or CNA certification, or proof of completion/current enrollment in an approved training program.
• Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and supportive companionship.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and activities of daily living.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Accompany clients to appointments, walks, errands, and activities as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Support clients with maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Follow individualized care plans and client instructions.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition to the agency, medical professionals, and family members as appropriate.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Treat every client with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is actively seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers, Home Care Aides (HCAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. We provide personalized in-home care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, independent, and engaged in their own homes.

Part-time opportunities are available, with the potential for additional hours based on client needs and availability.

About the Role

As an Acti-Kare caregiver, you will provide meaningful support to seniors and help them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will work directly with clients in their homes, providing companionship and assistance with everyday activities.

Caregiver / HCA / CNA Responsibilities

• Valid U.S. work authorization.

• Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor.

• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to perform the physical tasks required for caregiving.

Caregiving experience with seniors is preferred.
