Legacy Pointe at UCF in Oviedo, FL seeks caring Certified Nursing Assistants for part-time day shifts across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist residents with daily routines, personal care, mobility, and feeding, under the supervision of the Nursing team, promoting dignity and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS as applicable, and compassionate communication.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification meeting department requirements (including BLS as applicable).
• One year of healthcare or residential care experience preferred; equivalent training/experience may be considered.
• Ability to provide respectful, compassionate care to older adults.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established care procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably PointClickCare.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Patience and understanding when assisting residents with varying physical and cognitive needs.
• Dependability and commitment to resident safety and quality care.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and morning personal care.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living while encouraging resident independence.
• Respond promptly and professionally to call lights and resident requests.
• Assist residents with transfers, walking, repositioning, and mobility devices.
• Support mealtimes, including setting up trays, serving meals, and providing feeding assistance.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other observations as directed.
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical records.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health, behavior, or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Provide compassionate care to residents experiencing dementia, memory loss, or other cognitive challenges.
• Help maintain clean, comfortable, and organized resident rooms.
• Change linens and prepare, clean, and store resident care equipment and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other members of the care team.
• Follow established care plans, infection prevention procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Protect resident rights, confidentiality, dignity, and comfort.
• Assist with additional resident care and departmental responsibilities as needed.
