Job summary

Legacy Pointe at UCF in Oviedo, FL seeks dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants for full-time evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, or Memory Care. CNAs assist residents with personal care, mobility, meals, and bedtime routines under a Nurse Manager, ensuring safe, comfortable, and respectful care per care plans.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR certification, and EMR experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current CPR certification (BLS/AED as applicable).
One year of healthcare or residential care experience preferred.
Ability to follow care plans, safety guidelines and procedures.
Experience with electronic medical records, preferably PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with evening personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and ADLs.
Support dinner service, meal setup, feeding, and cleanup as needed.
Assist with transfers, ambulation, mobility devices, and safe positioning.
Respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance.
Document care and observations in the EMR and maintain records.
Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and prevent pressure injuries.
