Job summary

Providence Health & Services in Redmond, WA is seeking a Part-time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join Providence PACE. This 20-hour-per-week daytime role operates on Weekdays and reports to the PCA Coordinator to help participants stay independent and engaged.

The PCA will assist with mobility, daily living activities, transfers, feeding, showering, and transportation, ensuring comfort and satisfaction within the center.

Qualifications

• WA Nursing Assistant Certification License required at hire.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required at hire.
• 1 year of healthcare setting experience.
• Experience working with frail, cognitively impaired older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with mobility exercises to help them be more independent.
• Assist with activities of daily living: walking, transfers, toileting, feeding, showering.
• Support getting to and from transportation and socialization at the center.
• Provide care that ensures participant satisfaction and retention.
