Job summary

Developmental Options in Pocatello is seeking Direct Support Workers to assist children and adults with activities of daily living in our ICF or Res Hab settings. You may help with cooking, cleaning, grooming, medication reminders, and community integration while maintaining safety.

Part-time weekend or evening shifts are available, with set schedules assigned at hire. Paid training is provided, and there are opportunities for future advancement and benefits upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Pass Health and Welfare Background check; drug screen
• Complete provided training within 90 days (paid)
• Effective communication skills
• Must lift or move 50 pounds
• For driving role: clean record/insurance and 21+
• Valid Idaho CNA certification

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of residents, staff, and self; follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Advocate for residents' rights and dignity; report abuse or neglect
• Assist with daily living activities and community access as assigned by department
