Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake in Brooklyn Park is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily activities, meals, mobility, and companionship. You will follow care plans, report changes, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment in a well‑established senior living community.

The role emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered service, teamwork with nursing staff, and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program.
• Current certification through Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while accurately planning and completing tasks.
• Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and respect for others.
• Awareness of residents' individual needs and abilities.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Support residents’ comfort, dignity, and independence through person-centered care.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining support as needed.
• Provide companionship and engagement with residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Follow care plans, safety procedures, and infection control standards.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in required systems.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to support resident care and well-being.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service in daily interactions.
