Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach on an as-needed basis for 8 or 16 week contracts. Adjuncts create a learning environment that helps students reach goals and provide effective instruction within common syllabi.

Compensation is $45.45 per contact hour. Responsibilities include delivering classes, developing syllabi and assessments, and maintaining accurate records while complying with FERPA and college policies.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of current technologies for instruction.
• Meets faculty credentials per ASOM 7.1.
• Demonstrates diversity appreciation and promotion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes per College policy and objectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develop and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and records.
• Engage with students to ensure a positive Ivy Tech experience.
• Maintain professional conduct with colleagues and comply with policies.
• Ensure knowledge of safety procedures in classrooms and labs.
