Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Reno, NV is hiring a part-time CNA to deliver safe, compassionate patient care in the new adult behavioral health unit at 6225 Sharlands Ave. The position offers a convenient day shift, full benefits, and the chance to work as part of a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, CNAs, social workers and therapists.

You will conduct bedside care, participate in individualized care plans, and assist with therapy, medication management, and family

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
