Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, is expanding its adult behavioral health services in a new Reno building. We seek a dedicated CNA to provide safe, patient-centered nursing care on a full-time night shift to adults 18+.

You will support the healthcare team and help maintain a 24-hour secure, compassionate environment. Position offers full benefits, 36 hours per week, and a night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report at the start and end of each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at shift start to receive tasks.
• Involves patient and family across psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs.
• Follows facility policies to promote patient safety (environment, equipment, radiation safety, fire prevention).
• Adheres to fall precautions, assists with toileting/ADL care, and remains with the patient as needed.
