Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is expanding adult behavioral health services with a full-time CNA role at 6225 Sharlands Ave, Northwest Reno. You will provide safe, competent nursing assistant care, support the healthcare team, and help implement patient-centered care in a 36-hour week day-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in the patient room.
• Provides patient with care team contact information on the communication board each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional needs in care.
• Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety.
• Adheres to fall precautions by assisting with toileting/ADL care and staying with the patient.
