Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, located at 6225 Sharlands Ave in Northwest Reno, is seeking a part-time CNA for day shift to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care and support to the healthcare team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care with involvement of patients and families, bedside shift reports, and collaboration with the supervising RN to deliver individualized care and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
• Current Nevada CNA license.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs in care.
