Job summary

Parkland College is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant Adjunct Faculty to teach on its Champaign, Illinois campus. The position offers part-time, on-campus appointments with a salary range of $1,406.00 - $1,586.00 per Equated Contact Hour (ECH), commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a registered nurse.
• If ADN, must have completed IDPH Train the Trainer CNA Instructor course.
• Experience caring for patients with Alzheimer’s/dementia or four CEUs in dementia education.
• Maintains professional credentials to teach in area of discipline.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction per course outlines and department philosophy.
• Advise and mentor students and manage student progress.
• Maintain regular office hours and assist students in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate scholastic records and submit reports by deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair.
