Job summary

College of DuPage seeks Adjunct Faculty to teach Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on campus in Glen Ellyn, IL. The successful candidate will plan and deliver instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings and evaluate students in a timely manner.

The role may involve online or hybrid delivery; two years RN experience and nursing education credentials are required. On-campus only; background check will be conducted. Stipend-based per course assignments.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing with BNA Instructor Train the Trainer Course Certification or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with 4 CEU's of approved Alzheimer's Training or BNA Instructor Train the Trainer Course Certification
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse (RN). Must have experience as a RN in teaching theory or providing nursing care to older adults or chronically ill adults.
• This position is on-campus only, no remote offerings.
• In your cover letter, please discuss any experience in teaching online and/or hybrid courses, as well as any training in learner-centered pedagogical practices in face to face and online teaching environments.

Responsibilities

• Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid).
• Student evaluation and timely submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
• Contribute to a multicultural learning environment and support diverse student needs.
