Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma from a Medical Assistant program required.
• Medical Assistant Certification/Registration is required (CMA, NCMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA).

Responsibilities

• Navigate the PVP work queue to complete encounters.
• Perform a chart review on selected patients and gather necessary information.
• Interview patients, record medical history, and confirm visit purpose.
• Prepare patients for provider visits remotely and document in the EMR.
• Communicate with providers and office staff about patient care.
• Obtain lab, testing, and procedure results from external sources and document them.
• Monitor voicemail accounts and assist the team as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
