Qualifications

• Must be a certified medical assistant.
• Minimum one year experience in emergency or correctional service.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CMA training completed.

Responsibilities

• Work within a correctional facility.
• Administer medications and record daily medication to patients.
• Order stock medications and manage inventory.
• Reconcile medications from pharmacy and maintain accurate records.
• Distribute medications and rotate stock per policy.
• Coordinate care with nurses and observe patient changes.
• Notify pharmacy of transfers or releases.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
