VitalCore Health Strategies seeks a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant for the Essex County Correctional Facility in Middleton, Massachusetts. The CMA delivers quality care, maintains patient records, and coordinates communications between patients and staff in a correctional setting.

The role requires a current CMA certificate and phlebotomy experience; correctional/behavioral health background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid CMA certificate.
• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Experience in Correctional or behavioral health is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care within the CMA scope of practice.
• Schedule or coordinate patient appointments and maintain calendar for medical providers.
• Manage inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
• Assist the provider or nurse with exams and procedures; set up exam room and record health history.
