Job summary

Golden State Orthopedics and Spine is seeking a Part Time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in California. You will maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, disinfect equipment, handle pre-certification of medications, and assist in procedures as appropriate.

The role includes drawing blood, verifying patient eligibility, and scheduling surgeries and pre/post-op appointments. Travel will be about 25% between Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, and Mountain View, with emergency travel to Capitola

Qualifications

• 2+ years medical back-office experience preferred.
• CCMA and Phlebotomy certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exam rooms and restock supplies.
• Disinfect equipment and instruments.
• Pre-certification of medications and assist in procedures.
• Draw blood.
• Verify patient eligibility and coverage.
• Schedule surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post-op appointments.
• Travel about 25% between Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, and Mountain View; emergency travel to Capitola required.
• Additional duties as assigned.
