Golden State Orthopedics and Spine in Oakland, CA is seeking a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. You will maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, disinfect equipment, assist in procedures, draw blood, verify patient eligibility, and schedule surgeries and pre/post-op appointments.

Requirements include 2 years of Medical Assistant experience and CMA certification; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of Medical Assistant experience required.
• CMA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining exam rooms
• Stocking supplies
• Disinfecting equipment and instruments
• Pre-certification of medications and assisting in procedure/treatment
• Drawing blood
• Verifying patient eligibility and coverage
• Scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post-op appointments
• Additional duties as assigned
