Job summary

Meridian Hills Country Club in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time, temporary server to provide food and beverage service to members and guests. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure timely, courteous service in a club setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and execute basic math skills.
• Food safety certification.
• Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Alcoholic beverage certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge members and guests.
• Provide attentive service to seating and dining.
• Present menus, wine lists, and daily specials.
• Take orders and communicate any dietary notes to kitchen.
• Serve meals and beverages courteously, with correct courses.
• Clear and reset tables between courses and remove soiled dishes.
• Verify prices, taxes, and service charges on the bill.
• Maintain clean dining room and bus station areas.
• Attend pre-meal meetings and follow club policies.
• Assist with closing duties as assigned by management.
