Job summary

Dollar Tree in Michigan is seeking a PART TIME CLOSING Assistant Manager to support store operations and customer service. You will help organize merchandise, manage closing procedures, and assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits with the store team.

You’ll train and develop associates, maintain a clean, safe store, and ensure promotional displays reflect policy. This role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform closing procedures and ensure store readiness.
• Process directives, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits as directed.
• Maintain fixtures, displays and loss prevention measures.
• Support in ordering merchandise and maintaining stockroom and sales floor standards.
• Train and develop Store Associates and supervise as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
