Job summary

Actalent, located in McKinney, TX, seeks a Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator to support a Chronic Rhinosinusitis trial. The role focuses on identifying eligible participants, educating them about the study, and maintaining engagement and compliance, with an estimated 20 hours per week onsite.

The CRC will review EMRs, pre-screen participants, recruit and enroll, educate on procedures and follow-up, and keep detailed study records. HIPAA and GCP training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• 2+ years of patient recruitment experience.
• 2+ years of EMR experience.
• Training in HIPAA & Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Review EMRs to assess potential participants against inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Pre-screen potential participants based on protocol-defined eligibility.
• Recruit and enroll participants into the clinical trial per study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Educate participants about the trial, procedures, expectations, and follow-up.
• Conduct follow-up communications to support retention and protocol compliance.
• Schedule in-person visits and send reminders/information to participants promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of chart reviews, pre-screening, and interactions in EMR/study records.
• Engage in community outreach and referral provider networking.
