Joyce University invites experienced nurses to join as Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructors in the Las Vegas area. You will mentor nursing students at local clinical sites while maintaining your own practice, helping them develop confidence and clinical judgement through hands-on experiences.

You’ll bring current nursing expertise into the classroom, contribute to student-centered learning, and participate in university activities.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Master's degree in Nursing.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Preferred: Previous teaching, precepting, mentoring, or clinical education experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences in local healthcare settings.
• Connect real-world nursing practice to what students are learning in their courses.
• Coach and mentor students as they develop clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence.
• Observe student performance and provide meaningful feedback and evaluation.
• Recognize opportunities for additional support and help students develop through coaching and remediation.
• Collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff to support a consistent, student-centered learning experience.
• Stay current in your nursing practice and bring current clinical knowledge into your teaching.
• Participate in select university activities such as faculty meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation.
