Job summary

Joyce University in the Las Vegas area seeks a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor to bring real-world nursing experience into its classroom and clinical settings. You will mentor students, help them build confidence, clinical judgment, and professional communication while maintaining your current practice.

Requirements include an active Nevada RN license, a Master's in Nursing, and 2–3 years of clinical experience. Prior teaching is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences in local healthcare settings
• Connect real-world nursing practice to what students are learning in their courses
• Coach and mentor students as they develop clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence
• Observe student performance and provide meaningful feedback and evaluation
• Recognize opportunities for additional support and help students develop through coaching and remediation
• Collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff to support a consistent, student-centered learning experience
• Stay current in your nursing practice and bring current clinical knowledge into your teaching
• Participate in select university activities such as faculty meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation
