Description
What if you could use your nursing experience to help shape the next generation of nurses — without giving up the nursing career you love?
At Joyce University, our Clinical Nursing Faculty bring nursing education to life in real-world clinical settings. As a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor, you'll work directly with nursing students, helping them build the confidence, clinical judgment, and skills they need to become compassionate, capable nurses.
You don't have to leave clinical practice to teach. In fact, we love that our faculty continue to bring current, real-world nursing experience into the classroom and clinical environment.
Since 1979, Joyce University has been preparing people to serve as competent professionals, advance their careers, and pursue lifelong learning. Our culture is grounded in Service, Learning, Integrity, Caring, and Excellence, and we're looking for nurses who want to share those values with the next generation.
As a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor in the Las Vegas area, you'll mentor Joyce University nursing students at local clinical sites while continuing your own professional practice.
This is an opportunity to take the knowledge you've built through your nursing career and turn it into something lasting: the confidence and competence of the nurses who come after you.
Continue your nursing career while sharing your experience with students who are just beginning theirs.
If you've ever been the nurse others turn to for guidance, you've already experienced an important part of what makes a great clinical educator.
Clinical faculty typically work 1–2 shifts per week during the academic term, giving you the opportunity to teach while maintaining other professional or personal commitments.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that cares deeply about students, faculty, and the future of healthcare.
Joyce supports professional growth through opportunities for development and tuition reimbursement or tuition reduction toward an MSN or DNP.
No formal teaching experience? That's okay.
We value nurses who know their practice, care about developing others, and can create a positive learning experience for students. Previous teaching experience is helpful, but we're also interested in nurses who have served as preceptors, mentors, charge nurses, clinical leaders, or the person others naturally turn to when they need guidance.
Your nursing experience has already made a difference in the lives of patients and families. At Joyce University, you can extend that impact to the next generation of nurses.
Bring your experience. Share your knowledge. Help shape what's next in nursing.
