Joyce University is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor in the Medford area to mentor nursing students in local clinical sites while maintaining your ongoing clinical practice.

You'll guide students, connect real-world nursing to coursework, and provide feedback and coaching to develop clinical judgment and confidence. This role blends teaching with practicing nursing.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oregon.
• Master's degree in Nursing.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences in local healthcare settings
• Connect real-world nursing practice to what students are learning in their courses
• Coach and mentor students as they develop clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence
• Observe student performance and provide meaningful feedback and evaluation
• Recognize opportunities for additional support and help students develop through coaching and remediation
• Collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff to support a consistent, student-centered learning experience
• Stay current in your nursing practice and bring current clinical knowledge into your teaching
• Participate in select university activities such as faculty meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation
