Job summary

Joyce University is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor in the Grand Junction area to mentor nursing students at local clinical sites while continuing your own practice. You’ll bring current nursing expertise into the classroom and clinical settings, helping students build confidence, judgment, and hands-on skills.

This role offers meaningful, flexible part-time work—typically 1–2 clinical shifts per week during the academic term—along with tuition reimbursement toward an MSN or DNP

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Colorado.
• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences in local healthcare settings.
• Connect real-world nursing practice to what students are learning in their courses.
• Coach and mentor students as they develop clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence.
• Observe student performance and provide meaningful feedback and evaluation.
• Collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff to support a consistent, student-centered learning experience.
