Supervisors provide supervision and mentorship for teacher candidates during field experiences, offering support and feedback throughout the program.

The role emphasizes observation of candidates in classrooms, mentoring during clinical experiences, and coordination with cooperating teachers and the College of Education.

Responsibilities

• Observe teacher candidates while conducting classroom instruction and evaluate candidate assignments.
• Mentor and evaluate teacher education candidates during their clinical experiences/student teaching.
• Liaise with the cooperating teacher, teacher candidate, and College of Education.
