Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Doctoral (or terminal degree) in a related field (required to teach in graduate-level programs).
• Expertise in content aligned with a departmental program area.
• A commitment to inclusive teaching, creating an inclusive learning and working environment, and working alongside persons with diverse backgrounds.
• Previous higher education teaching experience (preferred).
• Experience teaching with modality in which course is offered (preferred).
• Practical experience in an applied field aligned with a departmental program area (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more courses on an as-needed basis for spring, summer, and/or fall terms.
• Courses may be offered in-person, asynchronous online, or other modalities.
• Start date varies according to departmental teaching needs; doctoral level content teaching may include dissertation writing and support.

Education
