CALRegional seeks a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor to support 8–10 week programs at McClellan Park, CA. You will deliver engaging instruction, mentor students, and maintain professional standards while using established course outlines.

Schedule is Monday-Thursday evenings (5:30 PM–9:00 PM) with hybrid arrangement (Remote Tuesdays & Thursdays). No teaching experience required; CPR certification is preferred and relevant medical background is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related field.
• Familiar with anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, basic pharmacology and medical math.
• Front office experience and proficiency with computers.
• Current CPR certification.
• Energetic, capable of delivering instruction with passion.
• Ability to mentor students and uphold program standards.

• Assist in student learning outcomes and grading.
• Maintain current knowledge in subject matter and teaching strategies.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The Clinical Medical Assistant Programs run for 8-10 weeks. Applicants must be available to work the following schedule:

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 PM-9:00 PM

(Hybrid; Remote Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Location: McClellan Park, CA

Duties & Responsibilities

• Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
• Assist in student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
• Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
• Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor
• Grade class assignments and exams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office experience.
• Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
• No teaching experience required
• Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
• Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Current CPR certification.
