Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Wales, FL is seeking a part-time Chaplain to assess spiritual needs and provide compassionate pastoral care within a holistic care team. You will listen actively, support patients, families, and staff, and coordinate with clinicians to promote holistic healing.

The role requires a Master’s in Divinity (or related field), ACPE training, and demonstrated pastoral counseling skills. Familiarity with EHR systems and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Divinity or related field required.
ACPE units (4) required for ACPE accreditation.
Pastoral ministry experience preferred (1+ years).

Responsibilities

Assess the spiritual needs of patients as part of a holistic team.
Provide focused pastoral care to patients, families, and staff.
Lead rounds and coordinate with clinical staff in assigned areas.
Document pastoral activities in compliance with regulations.
Mentor chaplain interns and residents.
