Job summary

The Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment in Duluth, MN seeks a compassionate Clinical Assistant to join the Women's Residential Treatment Program. You will work with a clinical team to monitor residents, document progress, administer basic care, and provide emotional support in a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role is part-time, mornings 7 AM to 3 PM on alternating weekends. Candidates should have a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR & First Aid certification before direct patient contact.
• Must pass background studies issued by the Minnesota DHS.
• Preferred: experience in behavioral health and with Substance Use Disorders.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions or discharge paperwork.
• Observe and monitor patients; report observations to staff.
• Perform vital signs as instructed.
• Respond to crises per policy and procedure.
• Document shift events in logs.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Administer or monitor medications as trained by the RN.
• Perform light housekeeping and transportation duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
