Job summary

Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment seeks a compassionate Clinical Assistant for our women's Residential Treatment Program in Duluth, MN. You will support the clinical team, monitor residents, maintain records, and provide emotional support to promote recovery.

This part-time role includes morning shifts (7 AM–3 PM) with every-other-weekend work. Prior experience in behavioral health is preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is required before direct patient contact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR & First Aid certification required before direct patient contact.
• Must pass background studies by Minnesota DHS.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions/discharge paperwork.
• Observe patients and report safety concerns to staff.
• Take vital signs as instructed.
• Respond to crises per policy and notify supervisor.
• Document shift events in logs.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Administer or monitor medications as trained by RN.
• Perform light housekeeping and transportation tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
