The floater supports multiple outpatient clinics and contributes to a welcoming first impression. The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, First Aid/CPR certification, and background/drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in a prompt, warm, and friendly manner.
• Gather client and insurance information accurately.
• Request, collect, and process co-pays and other payments.
• Convey appointment information to clients.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and EMR system workflows.
• Answer telephones and screen calls, routing as needed.
• Monitor the work area for safety and security.
• Be knowledgeable about the crisis system and activation process.
• Other duties as assigned by DBH.
