Job summary

Davis Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Office Specialist - Front Desk Floater to join its Clinical Support team. You will be the first point of contact for clients at the Layton Main Street Clinic, greeting them warmly and assisting with information and payments.

This role requires HIPAA awareness, reliable transportation, and CPR certification. Shifts vary to cover multiple locations; DBH provides an equal opportunity workplace and an EAP for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening; no medical marijuana.
• Must pass HIPAA and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in a prompt, warm, and friendly manner.
• Gather client and insurance information accurately.
• Request, collect, and process co-pays and payments.
• Convey appointment information to clients clearly.
• Work with the electronic medical record system and HIPAA rules.
• Answer phones, screen calls, and forward messages as needed.
• Monitor the work area for safety and cleanliness.
• Be knowledgeable about the crisis system and activation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
