Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience working with clients.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to complete required job-related training.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for clients as they serve as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location.
• Delivers accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions while deepening relationships by proactively identifying needs and opportunities that will help clients reach their financial goals and referring clients to appropriate partners to help achieve their financial objectives.
• Engages clients with professionalism with a focus on educating on appropriate products and self-serve solutions while using insights on recommending solutions for turning routine client transactions into meaningful moments.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic banking products and services to utilize insights, tools and resources to evaluate and recommend client solutions.
• Performs a broad range of client transactions and multi-step activities within established financial limits.
• Identifies and assesses client problems in straight forward situations using standard procedures and escalates non-standard issues internally; typically addressing routine requests requiring minimal discretion.
