• Excellent written and oral communication skills are a necessity
• Experience working with the homeless would be an asset
• Certification in CPR or a willingness to be certified is also required
• Committed to anti‑racist/anti‑oppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good Shepherd
• Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset

How You Will Make An Impact

Youth Services provides support to 15 co‑ed homeless youth ages 16‑21 as well as a 21‑bed youth shelter, including youth who have ongoing contact or involvement with CAS/CCAS/Probation/Youth Justice System/ AY/ADGS and other family counseling agencies. Staff members support clients to reach personal goals and to have a satisfying and meaningful life in the community.
