Job summary

Good Shepherd Centres – Seniors' Program seeks a Clinical Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership, ensuring person-centered, high-quality services aligned with the charity’s mission. You will oversee operations, staffing, and service delivery while guiding quality initiatives and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Senior Clinical Manager, this role leads interdisciplinary teams, drives client-centered planning, and collaborates with partners to improve access and outcomes in

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of management or clinical administrative leadership in healthcare or community services.
  • Experience leading interdisciplinary teams of regulated and unregulated healthcare providers.
  • Strong background in community health, home care, or long-term care for seniors.
  • Registration with a regulatory body; RN background preferred.
  • Experience with quality initiatives and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, staffing, scheduling and service delivery.
  • Ensure assignments reflect client goals and comply with collective agreements.
  • Lead quality improvement and ensure compliance with standards and legislation.
  • Support client-centered care planning, assessments and service plans.
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to enhance client care and access.
  • Lead recruitment, orientation, retention, supervision and professional development.
  • Provide leadership to healthcare teams.
  • Monitor outcomes, utilization, and required reporting.
  • Manage staff timecards via ADP and oversee supplies and ordering.
  • Participate in leadership committees and on-call duties.
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive workplace aligned with our values.
  • Support Harm Reduction commitments and reduce barriers for marginalized groups.
  • Ensure confidentiality, health and safety compliance (PHIPA and OHSA).

Hours of Work

Typically, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required, including participation in an on‑call rotation.

Rate of Pay

$53.18 – $59.85/hour (Starting salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.)

How You Will Make An Impact

Reporting to the Senior Clinical Manager, the Clinical Manager provides clinical and operational leadership for the Seniors' Program, ensuring person‑centred, high‑quality services aligned with Good Shepherd's Mission, Vision and Values.

  • Oversee day‑to‑day clinical operations, staffing, scheduling and service delivery to meet client needs.
  • Ensure daily assignments reflect client goals and comply with applicable collective agreements.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with accreditation standards, regulatory and legislative requirements and Standards of Practice.
  • Support client‑centred care planning, assessments, reassessments and service plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, community partners and stakeholders to enhance client care and access to services.
  • Lead recruitment, orientation, retention, supervision, performance management and professional development of staff.
  • Provide leadership to regulated and unregulated healthcare teams.
  • Monitor client and program outcomes, utilization, statistics, quality indicators and required reporting.
  • Manage staff timecards through ADP and oversee supplies, tracking and ordering.
  • Participate in leadership committees, community events, stakeholder meetings and on‑call duties as required.

  • Support Good Shepherd's Harm Reduction commitment and reduce barriers for marginalized community members.
  • Ensure confidentiality, health and safety, PHIPA and Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements are maintained.
What You'll Bring To Our Team
  • Minimum 5 years of management or clinical administrative leadership experience in healthcare and/or community services.
  • Experience leading interdisciplinary teams of regulated and unregulated healthcare providers.
  • Strong experience in community health, healthcare, long‑term care and/or home care, particularly with older adults, high‑risk seniors, vulnerable populations and caregivers.
  • Healthcare‑related degree from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and progressive leadership experience.
  • Registration with a relevant regulatory body; Registered Nurse background preferred.
  • Experience leading quality initiatives and understanding regulatory frameworks and Standards of Practice.
  • Current Standard First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certification.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, computer, mentoring and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, changing environment and work collaboratively with others.
  • Demonstrated commitment to an inclusive, supportive workplace and Good Shepherd's mission and values.
