Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must complete 45 DCF training hours within 90 days of hire.
• Must complete 1-hour DCF Safe Sleep Practices for Child Care within 30 days.
• Must complete 5-hour DCF Child care Personnel Orientation or 1 hour Universal Precautions/Exposure Training.
• Must complete Infant/adult CPR and first Aid within 90 days.
• Must complete 5-minute Fire Extinguisher Training by the first day.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teachers to ensure the safety and welfare of infants, toddlers, and preschool children.
• Keep the center clean and healthy by washing dishes, doing laundry, and cleaning classrooms and playground.
• Collaborate with teachers to create a nurturing learning environment.
• Follow center policies, procedures, and health and safety protocols.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
