Job summary

You will lead city-wide recreation initiatives under supervision, supervise seasonal staff, and coordinate volunteers, ensuring safety and quality of programs. Experience in recreation or related field preferred; first aid knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of planning, organizing, and supervising city-wide recreation programs.
• Ability to enforce facility rules firmly and impartially.
• First aid knowledge or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops city-wide recreational programs including operating a community center and seasonal programs.
• Organizes and coordinates special recreational events on a city-wide basis.
• Instructs and coordinates volunteers and neighborhood groups assisting in programs.
• Evaluates programs and reports on activity outcomes.
