The Emerson Public library is seeking a friendly, well-organized, proactive part-timecirculation assistant.

Responsibilities

• Charging and discharging of materials
• Assisting patrons at circulation desks in Adult and Children’s Departments
• Handling interlibrary requests
• Light lifting and bending
• Assisting with programs in the Adult and/or Children’s departments

• Ability to work in a team or by themselves
• Knowledge of computers and other related technologies
• Willingness to learn new job responsibilities

Hours

Hours being offered are :Tuesdays and Thursday 2pm-8pm, one Saturday per month from 11 am-3pm.

$15.89 per hour

Substitution hours for various times will also be offered. Public Library experience ispreferred, though not mandatory.
