Kelly Services is hiring a Part‑Time Certified Industrial Hygienist for a 12‑month, on-site contract at Richmond, VA 23234. The position requires 8–16 hours per week with a pay rate of $92.85/hr.

The CIH will support the Spruance plant’s Occupational Health program and collaborate with EH&S and Health Services teams. Responsibilities include IH monitoring oversight, chemical review, PPE assessments, hazard analyses, and use of Cority software to manage data and actions.

Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with occupational health background.
• Experience applying IH best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with PPE needs and hazard assessment processes.

Responsabilités

• Provide subject matter expertise to advance oral health programs and ensure IH compliance.
• Review and approve IH monitoring plans and interpret results.
• Review requests for new chemicals and ensure safe implementation at site.
• Provide guidance to Health Services on Medical Surveillance.
• Use Cority to update data and document actions.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative hazard assessments (chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic).
• Review quarterly breathing air testing results and communicate outcomes.
• Guide OH team on maintaining OH equipment and handling asbestos, lead, and lasers.
