Job summary

IES Safety, LLC in Aiken, SC is seeking a Certified Industrial Hygienist for a full-time, on-site role. You will perform IH surveys, air and exposure monitoring, and indoor air quality evaluations to help clients control risks and achieve regulatory compliance.

You will prepare technical reports, interpret OSHA/ EPA standards, deliver training on exposure control, and support the development of safety programs. Occasional travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• CIH credential or eligible to obtain within a defined timeframe.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IH, EHS, or a related field.
• Experience with field measurements and IH instrumentation for reporting.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple on-site projects.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NIOSH, and ACGIH standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industrial hygiene surveys and collect field data.
• Perform air and exposure monitoring and IAQ evaluation.
• Recommend controls to reduce occupational risks.
• Prepare technical reports and interpret regulatory requirements.
• Advise clients on OSHA/EPA compliance and best practices.
• Deliver training on exposure control and health risk awareness.
• Support development of safety programs and procedures.
• Travel locally to client sites as needed.
