Job summary

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Skidmore, TX, seeks a qualified part-time custodian to keep church facilities clean and orderly. The role runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, with up to 4 hours weekly and an additional 1.5 hours for events as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing restrooms, and reporting maintenance needs to the Office Manager. Pre-employment screening and Safe Environment training are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license is required.
• Reliable and trustworthy with strong time-management.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high performance.
• Experience with cleaning equipment and sanitization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep church and parish buildings clean and orderly.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and sanitizing.
• Ensure buildings are secured at the end of each business day.
• Notify the Office Manager of maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
