Job summary

Immaculate Conception Parish is seeking a full-time custodian for our school. The position follows an evening shift during the school year and a day shift in summer.

Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining a large three-floor school building, gym, and cafeteria, ensuring a clean, orderly, and hygienic environment for students and staff. The custodian will perform routine duties such as floor care, vacuuming, trash removal, dusting, and general upkeep, with physical work including

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies as needed.
• Mop, sweep and maintain floors across three floors, gym and cafeteria.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces for a bright appearance.
• Follow a routine cleaning schedule to keep spaces clean and welcoming.
